Autoelectro launches free online technical library for rotating electrics

ELECTRICS specialist Autoelectro has introduced a free online technical hub to help technicians to improve their knowledge of fitting starters and alternators.

The resource offers a variety of useful online tools and services, designed to help technicians diagnose correctly, as well as refining their product information and providing them with handy fitting tips.

The Yorkshire company’s website offers a library of essential information, which can be accessed by signing up free-of-charge and only takes a few moments. Once completed, users can search specifically for manufacturer and model, as well engine size, year, fuel type and part type. So far, over 700 individuals have subscribed.

The thorough search criteria enable users to find exactly what they require. Additionally, a live chat facility is open for those that want that immediate one-to-one personal contact. This might be appropriate, as the library is being updated regularly.

On the other end of the conversation is a technical professional, who will be able to assist with enquiries immediately, or questions can also be e-mailed to the technical team.

Nick Hood, UK Sales Manager for Autoelectro, said: ‘Technical access is incredibly important in an era where vehicles are becoming increasingly complicated and technicians need as much support as we can give them and they expect of us.

‘That’s why our technical hub is an invaluable resource. The technical bulletins will continue to be uploaded and updated, thanks to our excellent technical team. Our customer service is pivotal to ensure our garage customers continue to place confidence in us and, perhaps more importantly, their motor factor.’
