VIDEO technology expert CitNOW will showcase its special product for workshops at Automechanika Frankfurt this month.
CitNOW Workshop, which is integrated and app-based, lets technicians give an entirely transparent view of any work needed on a vehicle and can record and send personalised videos to customers using a smart device.
Free upgrades to CitNOW Workshop introduced last month added features for improving customer engagement and workforce management.
These include the ability to rank staff based on their individual output of personalised video for customers and the frequency that the videos are watched. Top-performing video presenters can be rewarded with performance-based incentives, and areas for training can also be identified.
Hans-Joerg Haenggi, general director and head of sales at CitNOW, said: ‘CitNOW has proven in several markets that it can increase revenue streams and improve customer loyalty through transparency.
‘At CitNOW, we are also fully committed to helping our customers maximise the opportunity that video technology gives them, through training workshops and systems that we are continually developing and improving.
‘Those businesses across Europe who are forward-thinking are adopting video technology now as a key part of their growth. Meanwhile, we are seeing that those businesses who are not are already in danger of falling too far behind the pack.’
CitNOW, winner of the Product Innovation award at the inaugural Workshop Power Awards, will be demonstrating the product during the Automechanika Frankfurt event, which runs from September 13 to 17.
