Bentley recognised as top employer of young people

BENTLEY Motors has been recognised as a top employer for young people at the School Leavers’ Awards.

The awards are centred on feedback given by apprentices from 100 UK organisations, including those on programmes at Bentley, completing surveys based on skills development, career progression and training, and company culture.

The Crewe-based manufacturer offers opportunities to apprentices, graduates and undergraduates in engineering and manufacturing, as well as marketing, human resources, finance and purchasing.

Bentley collected top honours for Job Satisfaction, Medium-Sized School-Leaver Intake, Best Advanced Apprenticeship and Top Employer – Automotive. In addition, the firm received commendations in the Higher Apprenticeship and Company Culture categories.

This was enough for second overall in the national ranking of best employers for school leavers, and the highest position in the automotive industry. The brand has been recognised at the awards consistently since 2011.

Marlies Rogait, Bentley’s member of the board for human resources, said: ‘Bentley is committed to attracting, inspiring and developing the next generation of talented employees. The success at these awards is a fantastic acknowledgement of the commitment and expertise of the colleagues leading our training programmes.’
