PAGID has held its very first Proud to Fit Live event at the Automechanika show in Birmingham.
Taking place across the course of two evenings, visitors received expert braking advice, tricks of the trade and support from the company.
Charles Woodfield, head of customer training and lead technical braking at Euro Car Parts, demonstrated in-depth training for each of the garages, workshops and technicians that attended.
The event was part of the braking brand’s plan to offer more than just brake parts. It aims to train mechanics how to properly fit these components in order to provide more safety for customers and support for businesses.
Awards were also handed out to representatives of various companies for successes such as Loyalty, Lifetime Achievement and Best Newcomer.
Adam Michaels of Endyke Tyres, winner of the Special Recognition award, said: ‘Pagid and Euro Car Parts have really helped us get to where we are now as a business, and we wouldn’t be a success without their help.’
Robert Lightfoot, executive director of sales at TMD Friction, said: ‘The Proud to Fit Live event was a great success. Incorporating our first awards ceremony, it was a big thank you to those who have helped Pagid grow into the number one braking brand in the UK. It was great to see so many enthusiastic technicians using Pagid and to hear their views. We cannot wait for our next event.’
