Greatworth Classics to expand Porsche engine facility

GREATWORTH CLASSICS has announced an expansion of its site in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

The new area will complement Greatworth’s existing chassis and body workshops, which have helped it become established as one of the leading specialists of both air-cooled and water-cooled Porsches.

The company specialises in Porsche’s of all ages, from the iconic 1950’s 356, through to any pre-2010 model. The Volkswagen-based 914 is also catered for at Greatworth, and has become another specialist area for the firm thanks to their involvement in various 914 projects in recent years.

The company can trace its roots back to The VW Camper Company, which opened in 2005. The quality of their work led to interest from local Porsche enthusiasts, and as demand grew, the company evolved into Greatworth Classics in 2014. The engine workshop was created in 2017, and work on Porsche cars has expanded ever since. The company employs Porsche Engine experts with professional experience of servicing, rebuilding and refurbishment of all Porsche air cooled and water cooled engines.

Thanks to the expansion of the engine facilities, the team now has the capability to offer a full range of services on Porsche models of all lineages.
