CarShop opens its Technical Training Centre in Leighton Buzzard

ONE of the UK’s largest car supermarkets CarShop has opened its Technical Training Centre at its preparation centre in Leighton Buzzard.

The centre, officially opened last week, gives CarShop the opportunity to train staff who will prepare its cars for sale to a high standard.

In the first week, CarShop’s technical training manager Matt Phillips ran courses that covered panel repair and prime, preparation and masking, preparation process training and colour identification and application.

At the opening, talent development manager Rob Pardon said: ‘This week has seen the opening of the new Technical Training Centre at CarShop Leighton Buzzard. The facility is great asset for the business and helps us to provide a world-class colleague experience.

‘The centre is fitted out with a full floor extraction booth, mixing room, preparation area and adjoining classroom, which will be the hub for both Paint and Body, SMART and Technician training workshops.’
